The yarn used to make these lead ropes was spun by me from my animals. It is navajo plyed to make a super strong three ply yarn.
I then use any where from 35 to 48 X 2 strands which means that I pull them thru the loop of the snap to the desired length and then braid them together. They range from 4 ft long to just over 6 feet in length.
I have mixed colors as well as solid colors to choose from.
They are leadropes or dog leashes but they can be used for bridlereins for a soft mouthed horse as they do stretch just a little. I would not recommend tieing an animal with them because even though they are strong I can't guarantee that they would hold a rambunctious animal.
